Gracias a
un compañero de trabajo, al cual molesto cada que puedo por su gusto por la música
de Jazz ligero (música de elevador , música ambiental), conocí un día la versión sinfónica de” In your
eyes” de Peter Gabriel, la cual me gustó bastante y aunque fue creada en 1986
tomó aire fresco en 2003. Investigando el material a la venta sobre éste músico
tan creativo llega uno a encontrar mas de 18 CDs+DVDs , los mas representativos están disponibles en un BOX SET en el cual
resumen, mas no limitan, su originalidad y virtuosismo.

PASSION que tiene el sound track de la película LA ÚLTIMA TENTACION DE CRISTO de Martin Scorsese es una obra de 1989 y para
mi es sorprendente y agradable al oído. Pienso que algunos de los tracks llegan
a ser experimentales y como tal corren el riesgo de ser destrozados por la
crítica pero Peter Gabriel ha tenido la valentía de colocarlos ahí como música
incidental lo cual es de agradecerse.
